COPD: COPD or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease refers to a group of lung diseases that lead to blockage in the airflow causing breathing issues. We offer the best treatment with the support of our expert consultants.

Bronchoscope: We use this latest endoscopic technique to visualize the inside of the airways for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. This instrument is inserted into the airways through the nose or mouth, or through a tracheostomy for the examination.

EBUS: EBUS allows physicians to perform a technique known as TBNA to obtain tissue or fluid samples from the lungs and surrounding lymph nodes under Ultrasound guidance without any conventional surgery. The samples can be used for diagnosing and staging lung cancer, detecting infections, identifying inflammatory diseases that affect the lungs.

What makes EBUS different:

During an Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS):

The physician can perform needle aspiration lymph nodes using bronchoscope inserted through the mouth.
A special endoscope fitted with an ultrasound processor and a fine-gauge aspiration needle is guided through the patient’s trachea.
No incisions are necessary.

Benefits of EBUS:

Provide real-time imaging of the surface of the airways, blood vessels, lungs and lymph nodes.
The provided images allow the physician to easily view difficult to reach areas and to access more, and smaller, lymph nodes for biopsy with the aspiration needle than through conventional mediastinoscopy.
The accuracy and speed of the EBUS procedure lend itself to rapid onsite pathologic evaluation. Pathologists in the operating room can process and examine biopsy samples as they are obtained and can request additional samples to be taken immediately if needed.
EBUS is performed under moderate sedation or general anaesthesia.
Patients recover quickly and can generally go home the same day.

Thoracoscope: We use an enhanced thorascope, an endoscope-like device for medical thoracoscopy to examine the pleural space (inside the chest) through a little hole in the chest and take pleural biopsy.

Sleep Study: Our sleep study or Overnight Diagnostic Polysomnogram (PSG) is used to diagnose sleep apnoea and parasomnia.

Interventional Services: We offer interventional services such as Electrocoagulation for Haemoptysis, BAL/Lungs Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal, Tracheal Stenting (Flexo-Metallic and silicon) with our excellent infrastructure.
PFT: We offer Pulmonary Function Testing or PFT with latest technology and machinery to assess the functional status of the lung. It helps us understand how well the patient can inhale and exhale air and how well the gases such as oxygen move from the atmosphere into their body's circulation. We also offer Diffusion study, 6MWT, FeNO diagnostic and prognostic tool for lung disorder.
