Internal medicine physicians are specialists who are clinical experts to diagnose and treat across the spectrum of simple & complex immediate illnesses. When a person feels ill, their first stop in any multi-speciality set-up is to visit an Internal Medicine specialist, who understands the basic condition & then refers the patient to a specialist to take the treatment forward. Infectious diseases: This service includes consultation and treatment for Malaria, Typhoid fever, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Dengue fever, etc. Most of these diseases present with fever & other symptoms, which are investigated in-depth & treated here with prime care.

HIV Counselling: Individual counselling for patients living with HIV/AIDS or newly diagnosed is offered at the centre. We offer pre and post-test counselling for patients who are concerned about coping with the illness, partner notification, community resources and other long-term psychosocial support as needed.

Management of drug overdoses & poisoning: All poisoning cases are very efficiently treated at our centre in a very modern and excellent standard Intensive Care Unit, with the help of our internists.

Pre-Operative Checks: The senior consultants at the centre are involved in pre-operative checks in addition to an anaesthetist’s assessment; to manage & pick up existing medical problems prior to the surgical procedures and take appropriate measures to tackle the same, so that it does not cause any complications later on.
